Stantec's Calgary downtown (8th Avenue) office is seeking a ArcGIS Server Specialist. The successful candidate will be required to work with a multidisciplinary team using server based GIS for application development and analysis.
Responsibilities include:
- Create and implement solutions using ArcGIS Server.
- Administer and optimize data using ERSI ArcSDE with SQL Server.
- Implement services and develop robust WebGIS applications.
- Develop mobile applications with ArcGIS Server Mobile.
- Program and script using a variety of languages including VBA, VB.net, Python, C etc.
Job Qualifications
- GIS degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical school.
- 5 years industry experience maintaining and developing data and applications.
- A strong understanding and proven experience operating in a variety of data environments.
- Superior verbal communication skills with stakeholders.
