Duties: Mapping, Analysis, Data Management.
The successful candidate will be supervising all Data Management including regular data updates from numerous sources including third-party and government. Map design and deployment must also be overlooked with this position, experience with Map Templates are a must. Candidate must be confident in terms of research and applying government regulations with Seismic Exploration and must be able to update, manipulate, or change data/maps accordingly. An understanding of ArcView and data conversions throughout North America is also required. Candidate must be familiar with both ATS and NTS systems and must be familiar with Crown/Freehold, and Green/White area land. This person must be able to work as a team player and must do so under pressure with short deadlines.
Job Qualifications
Requirements:
Education: Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Geographic Information Systems.
Work Experience: Minimal 2 years in GIS related field.
Software Experience: ESRI’s ArcView Suite.
