Job Description
Golder Associates is seeking a Senior Enterprise GIS Consultant to provide leadership in the implementation of enterprise GIS solutions within the National Capital Region on behalf of Golder. This includes working with clients in the public sector as well as a variety of private companies in resource-based industries. The successful candidate would look to provide solutions that encompass a variety of Information Management components including GIS, remote sensing and CAD, as well as database and Internet tools.
The Enterprise GIS Consultant, will be expected to:
- Work with a team of specialists to implement GIS and related technologies as an enterprise solution;
- Carry-out business development and maintain client relationship in the National Capital Region;
- Support the development of an enterprise GIS and spatial data management team within the Ottawa office and the rest of Ontario;
- Maintain personal project chargeability.

Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Post Secondary degree with over eight years of experience in GIS and Information Management (familiarity with remote sensing, CAD, database management systems, and web GIS tools would also be an asset);
- Proven project development, design, management and implementation skills are required;
- A team-oriented and self-motivated individual who has good organisational skills;
- Direct hands-on experience with ESRI’s product family (including ArcGIS);
- Up-to-date technical knowledge as well as familiarity with current IT and industry specific trends.
