TERA Environmental Consultants is wanting to hire a junior cartography technician for full time employment in its Calgary office to assist in the preparation of a variety of presentation-quality cartographic map products in support of its environmental planning practice.
Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for graphic design and will be capable of producing high quality cartographic products. Other duties may include data acquisition, digitizing, and database and metadata maintenance. The successful candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of ArcGIS and be fully functional in office productivity software.
Other Information
Candidates must be self-starters with superior technical and organizational skills and be capable of working independently but within an open team context. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable cartographic work experience.
