Job Description
Regulating oil and gas activity for the benefit of all British Columbians.
The Regulatory Affairs and Consultation Division, responsible for providing policy, practices and technical services to the OGC, is seeking a talented GIS Analyst to join the Planning and Analysis Department. This team of Resource Specialists, Planners and GIS Specialists is responsible for the development of strategies related to surface and subsurface resource management.
This position will focus predominantly on subsurface GIS.
Job Qualifications
A Bachelors Degree in Earth Sciences and 2 years experience has provided you the knowledge and experience required to be successful in this position. As the interface between data users and information technology, the GIS Analyst requires the ability to communicate effectively and engage employees and clients from all levels of the commission. Your commitment to meeting operational and strategic goals is apparent in past project management and client services. Excellent oral and written communication skills along with adaptability and effective time management guarantee your success in this dynamic environment.
