Focus Corporation is a multidiscipline engineering, geomatics and planning consulting firm with offices in major centers throughout Western Canada. We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Technologist to join our Cranbrook team.
In this position, you will:
* Lead the position development and provide the primary input into the ultimate scope of this role
* Be responsible for civil engineering design, engineering design reports and the preparation of contract documents
Job Qualifications
As the successful candidate you:

* Are close to obtaining or are a Professional Land Surveyor (BCLS)
* Are a seasoned professional possessing strong technical and supervisory skills
* Have progressive experience and a comprehensive understanding of surveying within the land development industry
* Are an effective team player
* Have exceptional oral and written communication expertise which is complimented with a keen eye for detail and project/construction management skills
* Have the ability to think independently and be resourceful in completing your work
