Job Description
•Effectively communicate with staff, clients and management
•Develop business and marketing goals
•Maintain current and develop new clients
•Prepare and present proposals
•Oversee geotechnical explorations including sampling and logging
•Perform geotechnical analyses for slope stability, settlement, and foundation design projects
•Phase II ESA and contaminant remediation experience would be desirable
•Prepare geotechnical/environmental technical reports for a variety of projects (commercial, industrial, or residential developments, transportation, resource industry, utilities, building foundations)
•Supervise field engineering technical services for pile installation, site remediation, footing installation and materials testing
Job Qualifications
Other Information
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil (geotechnical) or Environmental Engineering
•Currently registered or immediately eligible for registration as a P. Eng. with the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysisists of Alberta
•Minimum of 6 years following graduation of progressive consulting experience providing geotechnical, geo-environmental, and materials engineering services
•Strong communication skills
•Solid project management abilities
•Interest and ability to effectively market core services
