Job Description

Pacific Geomatics Limited is one of the leading satellite imagery providers in North America. We are currently seeking a full-time Production Team Lead. The Production Team Lead will be responsible for the processing of satellite imagery, coordinating projects, providing project support, and collaborating with our sales and production teams.

 

This will be a full-time position based in Canada (remote). Preference to Pacific/Mountain/Central timezones.

 

Responsibilities

·        Process satellite imagery (orthorectification, mosaicking, etc.)

·        Establish project schedules and staff requirements for multiple projects

·        Work with production team to ensure all deliverables meet quality standards

·        Develop and manage project proposals, budget, and schedules

·        Provide technical support to sales team as needed

·        Serve as technical representative in meetings and presentations as required

·        Support corporate strategic initiatives

·        Ability to innovate and improve on existing procedures/methodologies

·        Strong communication and organizational skills

·        Competent technical writer

·        Sound knowledge of remote sensing principles

 

Preferred Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in geography, geomatics, GIS, or other geospatial related field

·        5-10 years of professional geospatial experience

·        Experience working with remote sensing & GIS software and data
