Our company provides services to a wide range of applications across various industries. Aeroquest Mapcon is looking for a Photogrammetrist with an Aerial Triangulation background. Experience in geodesy, photogrammetric mapping, statistics, and technical writing are essential for this position.  The candidate must show demonstrable skills in clear and concise verbal and written communication.

 

Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, the Aerial Triangulation Specialist will be responsible for generating block adjustments and providing expert knowledge in metric photogrammetry on a day to day basis with a solid understanding of land survey.

 

 

Accountabilities

 

  • Responsible for planning and organizing all aspects of the Aerial Triangulation component of projects, including point mensuration and block adjustment.
  • Assists Project Manager during the sales-PM handover and makes sure the necessary information is available to produce products that meet project specifications.
  • Provides technical support for proposal team. Coordinates quality procedures, naming conventions, trouble-shooting, and quality checks.
  • Provides instructions to aerial and land surveyors.

 

Software Knowledge and Familiarity

 

BINGO, inBLOCK, UltraMap, MATCH-AT, ISAT, ISDM, ISSD, ISDC, PATB-NT, Global Mapper, GoogleEarth, Corpscon, TextPad, MicroStation, ARC/INFO, Word, Excel, Windows

Job Qualifications

 

  • American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Certification preferred. A candidate with equivalent schooling and experience and the desire to complete an ASPRS Certification would also be considered.
  • University Degree or Diploma in Geomatics Engineering, Mathematics or related area.
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with numerous geomatic processing software solutions
  • Survey experience preferred but not necessary
  • Detailed orientated
  • Ability to multitask
