Job Description
In this union position, the successful candidate is responsible for maintaining and administering the Company’s land base data; creating and maintaining GIS customizations, providing internal GIS support; and, liaising on GIS matters.
Job Qualifications
Your qualifications will include a two (2) year Diploma in Geographic Information Systems or equivalent; five (5) years experience and knowledge of Gas Utilities' operations, familiarity with parcel/infrastructure information systems, GIS databases and GIS software and Alberta Township System; three (3) years experience in developing, maintaining and supporting GIS data and creating custom GIS tools; and, experience in analyzing spatial data and translating client requirements into appropriate reports.
