for a Geomatics Technician / Plan Checker.

Position Details:

In this office role, you will be asked to work closely with our team to check municipal survey plans, process field data, and track job progress.  You will have a working knowledge of how GPS and total stations are used in the collection of survey data, and liaise closely with project management to effectively provide clients with excellent service.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with a Degree or Diploma in Geomatics and/or Survey Technology, or equivalent experience.

 Experience:

  • General survey experience in the field is an asset, especially municipal survey experience;
  • Previous experience navigating survey-related programs and databases; and
  • AutoCAD proficiency is an asset;
  • Experience in a similar role is a definite asset.
