About Altus Geomatics:

Altus Geomatics is a successful Survey Company that provides Field Surveys, Mapping, Remote Sensing (LiDAR/3D Laser Scanning), and GIS (Data Solutions and Systems) services to the oil and gas industry in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada.

A member of the Production Group, the Party Chief is primarily responsible for surveys of well sites,

pipeline rights-of-way and legal surveys. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, with good powers ofobservation and time management skills.

Job Qualifications

Required Skills and qualifications:

A Geomatics Technology Diploma (or equivalent)

Experience running RTK GPS / Survey related background

A strong technical aptitude as well as a strong aptitude for math, science and computers

A Class 5 driver’s license (driver's abstract required)

Willingness to be away from home and work outdoors in all climates, conditions and terrain

Commitment to safety protocol

Attention to detail / Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision

Excellent interpersonal skills / Strong organizational skills and flexibility / Able to meet deadlines
