Job Qualifications
Specific Accountabilities:
- Requires knowledge of management science, organizational behaviour/industrial relations, economics, finance and related business administration subjects, along with knowledge of various custom acts, laws, Canadian building codes and regulations.
- Requires a broad understanding of plant maintenance and operations, a strong knowledge of plant equipment, systems and processes and a good understanding of the regulatory requirements relative to the operation of a laundry, steam plant and sewage systems.
- Provide strategic planning, business planning, budget support, staff planning and departmental process support.
- Assists with managing a budget including negotiating and managing contracts.
- A minimum of over 6 years experience.
Education
- University education in an appropriate field or by having the equivalent level of education.
- Facility's Management Professional designate and or International Institute of Business Analysis certification consider a strong asset.
- Experience with AutoCad and VFA Facilities software considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of Asset management and Geographic Information System's related to Facilities strategic planning
