We have an immediate opening for a Geomatics Engineer/Technologist for our project in the Fort McMurray, Alberta area.  The work involves the re-location of two large processing facilities  and we are looking for a motivated self-starter to be involved with all aspects of the project. The expected completion date is December 2013.  Benefits include a highly competitive salary, room and board plus all travel expenses to and from the project site.

The ideal candidate be a Canadian citizen or have a valid work visa, will have a broad range of survey experience with exposure to construction and industrial sites or a new graduate interested in Engineering surveys.  A minimum requirement is a degree or technical diploma in the field of Geomatics.  Experience with AutoCAD and MicroSurvey software is a definite asset.  Excellent communication skills, able to take direction well and have a clean and valid class 5 driver’s license is essential.  Candidates must be willing to travel up to a few weeks at a time and be physically fit and mentally prepared to work in all types of weather conditions.  Pre-employment testing for drugs and alcohol and at regular intervals for site access will be necessary.
