Precision Geomatics Inc. is a leading surveying and mapping service provider to Government, land and Resource Development Industries that has enjoyed steady growth since its inception in 1999.  With locations in Edmonton, Calgary and Medicine Hat, Precision provides a broad range of survey services throughout Alberta.  We currently have an excellent opportunity for a:

Crew Chiefs – 2 Edmonton 

We are currently seeking experienced Crew Chiefs based out of Edmonton, Alberta.  The ideal candidates will be experienced with and have a background in legal, construction and topographic surveys.  Have extensive knowledge and experience with RTK GPS, and have a valid and clean class 5 driver’s license.  These positions require candidates to be self-starters with excellent communication skills and who are able to take direction well.

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years’ experience in respective position
  • Valid class 5 Licence
  • Current 1st Aid/CPR
  • WHMIS
  • H2S Alive
  • PST or CSTS
  • ATV Training

Formal post-secondary education in Geomatics or surveying, confined space, fall arrest, and chainsaw training would all be considered assets.  

Candidates must be physically fit and prepared to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.  Candidates must also be willing and able to travel as some shifts may last up to 21 days.
