Job Qualifications
Position Description:
Our Edmonton location currently has an opportunity for an experienced Crew Chief. In this field position, you will be leading a crew performing oilfield surveying. The successful candidate will be well-versed in the technical operation of Total Station and GPS technology. You should be familiar with all facets of oilfield surveying; including but not limited to well site surveys, pipeline surveys and line locating.
Qualifications:
Candidates with formal post-secondary training in a Geomatics/Survey program are preferred, however, years of experience will be considered. The successful candidate will be well-versed in the technical operation of Total Station and GPS technology, with a minimum of 5 years surveying experience. Microsurvey or CAD experience would be beneficial. Guaranteed number of hours per pay period is provided for this position.
Travel out of town may be required. The successful candidate will have a faller’s ticket and a valid driver’s license. You must be physically able to perform the requirements of the job and be willing to work in all types of weather conditions. Safety training (i.e. CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS, etc.) is required and will be provided as necessary.
