FOCUS is a multi-discipline Engineering, Geomatics and Planning Consulting firm with offices in many centres throughout Western Canada. FOCUS provides a rewarding, performance-based culture. Due to tremendous growth, we are currently seeking Survey Party Chiefs for all of our offices, with immediate need in Fort St. John.
Reporting to Project Managers and the Field Operations Manager, the Party Chief will manage and perform field surveys, supported by a Survey Assistant. You will prepare and communicate field notes, sketches, checklists and digital data in the formats required by our CAD & GIS Techs.
Job Qualifications
What you will bring to FOCUS is a willingness to travel and work in remote locations for periods of up to 21 days, have experience with the use of ATV’s, snowmobiles and chainsaws, satisfy drug and alcohol screening requirements and hold a valid driving license. Preference will be given to candidates with related post-secondary program in Geomatics or combination of both education and experience.
