Job Description
|
Altus Geomatics is looking for an individual to enhance our mapping division. As a Mapping Technologist, you will specialize in drafting of composite/compiled maps displaying oil
& gas activities and satellite imagery, etc.
|
-A thorough understanding of AutoCAD
-A diploma in Engineering design and drafting technology, Land Surveying and/or Geomatics
(Altus will consider candidates with extensive survey experience but limited CAD)
- A basic understanding of the Western Canadian Township survey system
- Experience in the production of well site, construction and legal plans
-The ability to interpret field notes and work with digital field returns
-The ability to meet deadlines
-Attention to detail
-A strong aptitude for math
-Organizational skills and flexibility
-Excellent interpersonal skills
