An energetic, driven professional is needed to develop and lead our sales force to support existing client relationships, advance relationships with customers, and cultivate new business within the petroleum and utilities industry.

|
Responsibilities: • Execute account management strategies designed to facilitate the implementation of business relevant solutions within a portfolio of targeted accounts
• Develop and drive new accounts and expand existing accounts by selling services and software
• Work closely with technical resources to develop custom presentations designed to demonstrate the business value of Polar’s solutions
• Leverage industry knowledge and customer relationships to understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
• Promote the business value of GIS in the petroleum industry by attending and/or presenting at user group meetings, and relevant trade shows.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s or master’s in GIS or a petroleum-industry related field, or equivalent experience, depending on position level
• Five or more years of sales experience in a technical field
• Knowledge of and experience using GIS solutions
• Experience developing large, complex business relationships with major customers
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working in or with the petroleum industry
• Skilled in supplying support and training for GIS solutions
Recommended Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in responding to RFP’s
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to travel as needed
